Saundra Youngblood, age 64, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, following a brief illness. Mrs. Youngblood was born on November 28, 1949, in Parkersburg, WV to the late Edgar Frank Lockhart and Oda Mae Fisher Lockhart.
Survivors include: her husband, Charles Edward Youngblood of Douglas, GA; two daughters, Wendy (Josh) Stephenson and Michelle (Chris) Craig both of Lynchburg, VA; stepson, Thomas Alexander (Tiffany) Youngblood of Lynchburg, VA; granddaughter, Christina Youngblood of Madison Heights, VA; grandson, Daniel Kidd of Lynchburg, VA; three sisters, Wanda (Don) Johnson of Appomattox, VA, Janet Riley of Whitfield, VA, and Joyce (Mike) Thompson of Lynchburg, VA; brother and sister in law, Bobby and Deborah Law of Elko, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janette Lockhart and two brothers, Francis Dale Lockhart and Denzil Leo Lockhart.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
Funeral Service were held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Tanner officiating. Music was furnished for the service by Rev. Dewayne Tanner "My Lord Keeps A Record". Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
