Larry Homer Merritt

Larry Homer Merritt, age 70, of Milledgeville, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Georgia War Veterans Home.  Mr.  Merritt was born on May 3, 1947, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Homer Merritt and Lota Harrell Merritt.

He is survived by his daughters: Amanda and her husband Matthew Wornstaff of Zebulon, Ga., Jessica and her husband James Askew, Jr.,  of Newnan, Ga., Sister: Linda and husband Donald McKinnon of Beaumont, TX. Brother: Jerry and wife Marie Merritt of Brooksville, Fla.   Grandchildren: Abigail (Danilo) Ribeiro, Daniel Wornstaff, Hattie Graves, Adeline Askew. One great-grandchild: Liam Ribeiro. Family will receive friends Sunday 12:00 PM to 1:00 at Sims Funeral Home.

The graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Rocky Pond Baptist  Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. 

Interment followed at the Rocky Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.
