May I offer my sincere condolences for your loss. May your hearts find comfort in God's Word where it states: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces" (Isaiah 25:8). Almighty God promises to awaken our loved ones to a world of true peace with no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort and hope in God’s promises and for more comfort, please visit jw.org.

Jerry and Julian were very good friends for more than 50 years, worked together (Railroad), and actually at one time bought a house together in Manchester. When Jerry stopped running to Manchester, he sold his part to Julian. Glad we got to visit with him recently (I think at the railroad reunion). He was a good man and will be missed..

We are sorry to hear of Julian's passing. Jerry worked with him during his long time with the railroad and considered him a very good friend. Talked with him at the railroad retirement supper in March, I think. Anyway , somewhere recently. Will miss knowing that he is here. We were friends for more than 50 years.

Julian & myself had many good day's on the RR. He kept you smiling all the time, that is why he was called [Smiles]. I think everybody had a nick name on the RR. Mine was [Rowdy]. I would come to the funeral but we will be at one in Montezuma at 10. Can't make the visitation either. A man is coming to clean carpet at 6. You are in my thought's & Prayer's. I will put Julian & family on the prayer list Sunday morning. He will be missed. Sincerely, Rodney & Beverly Thomas
