I was so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing but very grateful that we had a chance to reminisce and catch up some in April at our Excelsior First Grade Reunion. We went to school together grades 1 thru 12 , he was a dear friend and like a brother. Brenda and family I know your loss is great and my prayers and thoughts go out for all of you. I know that only through God's strength and compassion will you find comfort and peace.

My sincerest sympathy to the family. I grew up with Jerry......we lived less than two miles apart. I had not seen Jerry in many years until October 28, 2017 at my brother Reggie Kirkland's 70th BD Party. Jerry and I both were blessed that day to be able to share and catch up after so many years. I remember him as a fun-loving person. He will be missed by many. Prayers for all the family.

Brenda and family, my heart is broke in the loss of this sweet man. I have very fond memories of him growing up on my summer stays in Georgia with my Georgia families. Jerry was always so sweet to me. I will miss my private facebook talks with him. Know that your family will continue to be in my tboughts and prayers. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the Service as my daughter is having surgery on Wednesday morning. Know that I love you all and will continue to pray for comfort. Remember all of tbe sweet memories with thus man of God.
