Evelyn Rigsby

Evelyn Rigsby, age 92, of Broxton, GA passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Rigsby was born on September 23, 1923, in McRae, GA to the late James Patterson Webb and Lonnie Mae Graham Webb. Survivors include: her son, Raymond Douglas of Bonaire, GA; stepson, Eddie Gene Rigsby of Florida; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benard Rigsby. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m until funeral hour at Broxton United Methodist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Broxton United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
