Clinton Russ

Clinton Dean Russ, age 65, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Hospice of the Golden Isles following an extended illness. Mr. Russ was born on July 13, 1951, in Douglas, GA to the late Oliver Dean Russ and Sara Kathleen Tucker Russ. Survivors include: his wife, Sherry Buchan Russ of Nicholls, GA; two sons, Josh (Tonya) Russ of Nicholls, GA and Rockki (Barbara) Russ of Nicholls, GA; two brothers, Randy (Janet) Russ of Fitzgerald, GA and Harvey Russ of Douglas, GA; five grandchildren, Baily Russ, Tyler Russ, Harper Russ, Justin Russ, and Zachery Whitley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Holland. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Mr. Russ will Lie in State Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. from until 2:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Carver and Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
