Thora Adams

Thora Adams, age 79, of Broxton, GA passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Adams was born on February 11, 1935, in Dramore, Irland to the late William Ward and Margaret Ward. Survivors include: her five sons, Peter John (Angela) Adams, Timothy James (former wife Janie Sweat) Adams, Stephen Mark (Penny) Adams, Paul Andrew ( Fran) Adams, and David William (Kimberly) Adams, two sisters, Rosemary Ward of Birkenhead, England and Elizabeth Bradley of Griffin, GA, brother, David Ward of Birkenhead, England, fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, six nieces and nephews and one great niece. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Chip Woodruff officiating. Active Pallbearers were: Brandon Adams, Bradley Adams, Mathew Adams, Mark Adams, Rhett Fussell, and Logan Gills. Interment followed at Adam Family Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
