Rosa Andrews

Rosa Andrews, age 91, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Andrews was born on March 1, 1924, in Douglas, GA to the late Roy Oscar Butler and Gladys Ricketson Butler. Survivors include: her son, Willard C. Andrews of Broxton, GA; daughter, Wynette A. (Tyrone) Stewart of Jonesboro, GA; grandson, Ty (Holly) Stewart of Moreland, GA; great grandson, Jake Stewart of Moreland, GA; two sisters, Helen Braddy of Terrytown, GA and Louise Hood of Port Ludlow, WA; brother, Walter Butler of Lavonia, GA; special caregivers, niece, Theresa Crews and Helen Braddy who gave special loving care through the last year of her life; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Andrews. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Atkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
