Yvonne J. LaRoche

Yvonne J. LaRoche, age 58, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. LaRoche was born on July 6, 1961 in College Park, Georgia the daughter of the late Roger Raymond LaRoche and Shirley Williams LaRoche.

Mrs. LaRoche was a homemaker and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Starla Dawn Steptoe.

Survivors include her husband, James Hilton Steptoe of Douglas, GA; son, Dustin William Steptoe (Renee) of Douglas, GA; daughter, Sara Rogers (James) of Ambrose, GA; three grandchildren, Brier Steptoe, The’oden Rogers and Eveline Rogers; two brothers, Bryan LaRoche of Hazlehurst, GA and Ronald LaRoche of Baxley, GA; two sisters, Renee Grimsley of Vidalia, GA and Michele Nowling of Hazlehurst, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 2:00pm at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. John Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30pm until 1:30pm at Sims Funeral Home.
