Obituary

Tommie Jean Patton, age 78, of Coffee County Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at her residence. Ms. Patton was born on January 4th, 1946 to Mr. Oscar Patton Sr., and Mrs. Iva Hinson Patton.

Ms. Patton was known for her wonderful pound cakes, and her beautiful home. She spent her time taking care of her yard for her family and friends to enjoy. Ms. Patton loved her family, friends and her sweet poodle (Cracker). Above all, she loved God. We know that she is happy in the Lords loving embrace.

Survivors include: Two Brothers;  Oscar (Sandy) Patton Jr. of Ambrose, GA, and Danny (Kathy) Patton of Ambrose, GA, Two Sisters;  Demaris Hughes of Nashville, GA, and Betty (Johnny) Perdue of Alquras, FL, Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews. She was preceded in death by: Father; Oscar Patton Sr., Mother; Iva Hinson Patton, Sister; Janice Patton, and Brother; Bill Patton.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 27th, 2023, at West Ward Street Church of God in Douglas, Georgia, at 3PM, with Bro. Britt Peavy and Bro. Colby Patton officiating.
