Teresa Lynn Mizell

Mrs. Teresa Lynn Mizell, age 49, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Douglas, Georgia.   Mrs.  Mizell was born on May 10, 1968, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Howard Joiner and Juanita Dale Joiner.

She is survived by her husband, Daryl Mizell of Douglas, GA; daughters, Brandy Hersey of Douglas, GA, Missy and husband Jackie Smith of Douglas, GA, Kayla Hersey of Douglas, GA, Haley Hersey of Douglas, GA; sisters, Belinda Smith of Nicholls, GA, Kaye Harper of Douglas, GA; brother, Waylon Joiner of Douglas, GA; and   8 grandchildren.

She is preceded by her father, Howard Joiner, sister, Angela Heath, grand-daughter, Raleigh Sinquefield.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Saving Grace Ministries, in Douglas, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Saving Grace Ministries with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating.

Music for service by cd were; “She’s Not Crying Anymore”, “I Sure Miss You”, “A Pretty Rose Without A Thorn”, Dancing in The Sky,  and “Go Rest High on That Mountain” perform by Amanda Roberts accompanied by Don Harrell as pianist. 

Active Pallbearers were: Bradley Mizell, Derrick Mizell, Rob Sinquefield, Joey Joiner, Chad Roberts and James Lackey.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
