Stanley Nathan Bennett, age 59, of Douglas, GA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 11th, 1965 the son of Clifton Omega Bennett and Thelma Joyce Bennett.
His survivors include: His beloved wife; Kathy Milhollin Bennett, Two Sons; Tytus Bennett, and Chanler Bennett, One Daughter; Kaula (William) Yaggie, Two Step-Children; Ashley (Rebecca) Woods, Amanda (Mark) Brulte, Twelve Grandchildren, One Sister; Breckell Barlow, Special Niece: Lacy Bennett, and Mother; Thelma Joyce Bennett. He was preceded in death by; One Daughter; Amanda Bennett, Father; Clifton Bennett.
Stanley was known for taking pride in his work as a truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors at his home.
Most Importantly, Stanley loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren, who knew him as pappy. Tytus and Chanler were his pride and joy.
Stanley will surely be missed by all of his family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 25th, 2024, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, at 2:00PM, with Elder Ashley Woods, Bishop Matt Smith and Rev. Clayton Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Douglas, Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will include: Larry Garrett, Curtis Bennett, Kevin Tatum, Justin Tatum, James Bennett, Connor Woods and Skyler Woods.
Honorary Pallbearers will include: Carl Bennett, Luke Joiner and the Coffee County Road Department.
