Ruby Lee Caves, age 77, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Caves was born on October 2, 1942 in South Carolina the daughter of the late John Huey Mathews and Estelle Corbitt Mathews.
Mrs. Caves was previously an assistant magistrate court judge in Coffee County for many years.
Survivors include: Daughter, Tammy (Michael) Stone of Douglas, GA, Son, Gregory Caves of Ocoee, FL, Grandson, Nick (Kaylee) Mann of Alma, GA, Granddaughter, Bree (Alex) Rodas of Atlanta, GA, Granddaughter, Misty Stone of Douglas, GA, Granddaughter, Hope Stone of Douglas, GA, Grandson, Michael Stone, Jr. of Douglas, GA, Great-grandson, Grayson (Jake) Mann, Great-grandson, Brennen Alexander Rodas, Great-grandson, Jackson Breck Rodas, Great-grand-daughter, Rayna Donahue, Great-grandson, Ryder Shaw, Great-granddaughter, Anlee Marie Davis, Great-granddaughter, Rylee Stone, Great-grandson, M. J. Stone and special friends; Jason Bastian, Elwaner Parker, and Keith Simmons.
Preceded in death by: Mother, Estelle Corbitt Mathews; Father, John Huey Mathews; Husband, J. V. Caves.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 11:00AM at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Kirkland and Rev. David Smith officiating.
