Peggy Ann Vaughan, age 80, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Vaughan was born on November 9, 1940 in Michigan City, Indiana the daughter of the late Edward George & Agnes Esther Cochran Domroski.
Mrs. Vaughan retired as a store manager with Family Dollar and was of the Christian/Protestant Faith. She was a great mom, cared about others and would do anything to help anyone. She loved collecting knickknacks and loved her Lucy dog. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Vaughan Sr.
Survivors include Johnny Ray & Beth Waldrop of Ohio, Kathie Marie Watkins of Arkansas, Cheryl Lynn Payne of Douglas, GA, William & Elizabeth Vaughan of Douglas, GA, Susan Vaughan of Pahokee, FL, Robert & Michelle Vaughan of Lehigh Acres, FL, Richard & Gail Vaughan, Charlotte Welch of Douglas, GA and Carla & Fred Hartley of Douglas, GAS; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family received friends Thursday evening, November 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Satilla Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lonnie Spikes officiating.
