Mr. Orville Carver, age 92, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA, following an extended illness. Mr. Carver was born on August 25th, 1930, to the late Mr. Charlie L. Carver and Mrs. Annie Carver.
Survivors include: His beloved wife of 68 years; Lillian L. Carver, of Douglas, GA, Two Sons; Claude (Sherri) Carver, of Douglas, GA, and Craig (Laverne) Carver, of Pearson, GA, One Daughter; Clara June Carver (Dewey) Hayes, of Douglas, GA, Four Grandchildren; Cameron Carver and fiance Russ Dozier, Courtney (John) Williams, Jon Dewey (Ashley) Hayes III, Holly (Trevor) Carter, Two Great-Grandchildren; Barrett Carter, and Madi Carter, Three Sisters; Geneva McDonald, Betty Simmons Harper, and Hazel Fountain, along with several nieces and nephews, and “Mans Best Friend” His Dog, Peaches. He was preceded in death by: His Father; Charlie L. Carver, and Mother; Annie Carver.

The family will receive visitors at Sims Funeral Home of Douglas, GA, on Sunday, August 6th, 2023, from 6PM until 9PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 7th, 2023, at The Chapel of Sims Funeral Home, at 11AM, with Rev. Donnie Kirkland officiating and Cameron Carver giving the eulogy. Interment to follow at St. Illa Cemetery.
