Michael Elmer Vickers

Michael Elmer "Mike" Vickers, age 64, of Ambrose, GA passed away peacefully at Coffee Regional Medical Center on Friday, April 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 6th, 1959 the son of the late Mr. Edwin and Mrs. Jean Vickers.

His Survivors include: Four Sons; Michael (Joy) Vickers Jr. of Douglas, GA, Ashley (Kristin) Day of Collins, GA, Jared (Melissa) Vickers of Broxton, GA, and Todd (Cindy) Vickers of Warner Robins, One Daughter; Jennifer (Zane) Childers of Ocilla, GA, Twenty Grandchildren, Two Brothers; Derrick (Delectia) Vickers Of Ambrose, GA, and Craig Vickers of Ambrose, GA, Along with Several Nieces and Nephews, and Special Friend; Janet Smith. He was preceded in death by: His Wife Jean Vickers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church in Ambrose, GA, at 11:00AM, with Rev. Marvin Paulk and Rev. Phillip Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
