Marvin Glen Rains

Marvin Glen Rains, age 68, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rains was born on July 23, 1952 in Douglas, Georgia the son of the late Harold Russell Rains and Dorothy LaRue Bagley Rains.

Mr. Rains retired as the City Landscape Manager with the City of Douglas and was a member of Douglas First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Lucretia Strickland of Douglas, GA.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Central Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Talkington officiating with Henry Ralph Milhollin giving eulogy. Musical selections will be “Amazing Grace”, “Great is Thy Faithfulness” and “Heaven Came Down” all on CD.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Hope Center in Marvin Rains Memory.

Memorialization is by cremation.
