Margaret Ann Pharis, age 78, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Pharis was born on November 22, 1943, in Douglas, GA to the late James Carl Ayers and the late Margaret Smith Ayers.

Survivors include Husband, Ralph Benjamin Pharis of Douglas, GA, Son, James "Jim" Pharis of Dublin, GA, Daughter, Pam Register of Adel, GA. Grandchildren, Ronnie (Casey) Register of Adel, GA, Margaret Ann (Logan Bush) Register of Savannah, GA, Ben (Ellen) Register of Adel, GA, Heather Renee (Devan) Leaphart of Smyrna, GA, James B Pharis, Jr., of Dublin, GA. Five sisters, Jennie (Larry) Thomas of Douglas, GA, Marsha (Piere) Mitchell of Live Oak, FL, Jan (Jim) Hall of Ponte Vedia, FL, Joy (Ronnie) McKinnon of Douglas, GA, Carla (Dewayne) Harrell of Douglas, GA. Several Nieces, Nephews and grandchildren. A special friend and caregiver, Kathy Gilbert.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at City of Douglas Cemetery with John Day officiating.
