Marcus J. Bazemore

Marcus J. Bazemore, age 49, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia  following a brief illness. Mr. Bazemore was born on February 18, 1973, in Douglas, GA to Robert Lee Bazemore and Helen Stone Bazemore.

Survivors include: Two Daughters;  Emmalee Bazemore (Bobby) Roberts of Douglas, GA, Jasmine Bazemore of Douglas, GA,  Mother;  Helen Stone Bazemore of Douglas, GA, and an Aunt;  Bernadette Blankenship of Douglas, GA. Mr. Bazemore was preceded in death by: Father;  Robert Lee Bazemore, and a Sister;  Denise Helen Bazemore.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 2:00pm, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral home with Rev. Floyd Tanner officiating. The interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Daniel Bennett, Bobby Roberts, Casey Hersey, Casey Davis, Don Davis, and Shane Davis.
