Linnie Purvis Obituary

Linnie D Purvis, age 75, of Ambrose, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Purvis was born on December 16, 1946, in Pearson, GA to the late Idas Daniels and the late Geraldine Gillis Daniels.

Survivors include: Husband: George Purvis of Ambrose, GA, Two Daughters: Dina Merritt of Ambrose, GA and Amy (Allen) Hughes of Ambrose, GA, Three Grandchildren: Jesse (Angela) Merritt of Broxton, GA, Daniel Hughes of Columbus, GA, and Noal Hughes of Valdosta, GA, Two Sisters: Kay (Harry) Brown of Willacoochee, GA and Phoebe Brown of Willacoochee, GA and several Nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Purvis was preceded in death by: Father: Idas Daniels and Mother: Geraldine Gillis Daniels.

The family had a private visitation Friday May 20, 2022 from 10:00am until 10:30am at Sims Funeral Home.

Private Graveside Services were held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at Griffin Family Cemetery with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating.

Interment followed at Griffin Family Cemetery.
