Linda Sue Kitchens

Linda Sue Kitchens, age 64, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Sunday November 4, 2018 at Pruitt Health at Lake Haven, Valdosta, Georgia following an extended illness. Ms. Kitchens was born on June 1, 1954 in Douglas, Georgia the daughter of the late Buster Brown Meloy and Lucille Rigdon Meloy.

Ms. Kitchens was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Kitchens.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Kitchens (wife Kellie) of Valdosta, GA and Timothy Kitchens of Valdosta, GA; brother, Wayne Meloy of Douglas, GA; sister, Judy Meloy of Douglas, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday November 9, 2018 at 11:00am at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Deek Dubberly officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10am until time of service. Pallbearers are Timothy Sawyer, Brian Dubberly, Randy Braswell, Floyd Cauley, Bob DeCamp and Roy Rhodes. Musical selections were “Go Rest High on That Mountain’, “In The Garden” and “It Is Well With My Soul” by CD.
