Obituary
L.C. Porter age 82, of Douglas, passed away on Thursday March 23, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Porter was born on December 31, 1940, to the late Eli Manning Porter and Lila Smith Porter.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anderson Porter, Son, Chad (Tonya) Porter, Daughter, Janet Porter, Six grandchildren, Five great-grandchildren and one brother, Jerry Porter. Mr. Porter was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Margaret Morgan and former wife Jerlean Davis Porter.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 4PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Spivey officiating. Interment will follow at the Douglas City cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 6PM to 8PM at Sims Funeral Home.
