Julian Warren Mitchell Jr

Julian Warren Mitchell Jr, age 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Dorminey Medical Center, Fitzgerald, Georgia. Mr. Mitchell was born on February 8, 1953 in Fitzgerald, Georgia the son of the late Julian Warren Mitchell Sr and Venice Louise Huggins Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell worked as equipment operator for the road department with Ben Hill County and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alexis Helms and a brother, Randal Mitchell.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Lynn Mitchell of Fitzgerald, GA; two daughters, Miranda Lynn Helms (Frank) and, Lacey Jay Martin (Daniel) both of Fitzgerald, GA; grandson, Devin Martin of Fitzgerald, GA.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 16, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, GA.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to help with funeral expenses.
