Johnnie Randolph ("Randy") McCook

Johnnie Randolph "Randy” McCook, age 67, of Kennesaw, GA passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023.  He was born on August 18, 1955, in Fitzgerald, GA to the late John W. "Punk" McCook and the late Annie Lou Rogers McCook.

Survivors include his wife, Melody Moore McCook of Willacoochee, GA, Two Sons, Beau J. McCook of Kennesaw, GA, and Benjamin E. (Stephanie) McCook of Dallas, GA,  One Daughter, Kacee W. McCook of Willacoochee, GA, Two Brothers, Greg (Sandy) McCook of Acworth, GA, and Richard (Billie) McCook of Acworth, GA, Two Sisters, Pam (Greg) James of Tifton, GA, and Robin (Phillip) Dean of Abbeville, GA, One Aunt, Myrtle M. Stevens of TN, Five grandchildren, Haley Pennell of Kennesaw, GA, Nicholas Pennell of Willacoochee, GA, Kameron Pennell of Douglas, GA, Ashton McCook of Kennesaw, GA, Harley Z. McCook of Dallas, GA, Three Great Grandchildren, Kaysen Brownlow of Powder Springs, GA, Emorie Mullis of Axson, GA, Easton Brownlow of Willacoochee, GA a special great grandchild he was raising. Several Nieces and Nephews and his dog “Buddy".  Preceded by his; Father, John W "Punk" McCook; Mother, Annie Lou Rogers McCook; and a sister, Jacquilyn McCook.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 22, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at The Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Kimbrell officiating and Eulogy given by Ramey McCook. Musical arrangements will be: "The Anchor Holds", "Save the Roses", Spirit in the Sky", and "I'll Fly Away."   The interment will follow at Grantham Family Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Kameron Pennell, Nicholas Pennell, Ashton McCook, Mike McCook, Phillip Dean, and Kyler Dean.
