John Myron Coffee Obituary

 John Myron Coffee, age 19, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2018 from injuries in an auto accident. John Myron was born on July 31, 1999 in Douglas, Georgia the son of John Christopher Coffee and Amanda Belle Braddy Coffee.

John Myron worked as a serviceman with J & T Tire Company and was a member of Lone Hill United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Myron Braddy and Kenny Smith; uncle, Mike Paulk, grandparents, Watson and Ann Coffee, Thurston Paulk, Wendell and Helen Braddy and Nancy and George Pritchett.

Survivors include his parents, Chris and Amanda Coffee of Douglas, GA; brother, Christopher Evan Coffee of Douglas, GA; paternal grandparents, John and Susan Coffee of Douglas, GA; maternal grandmother, Beth Braddy Smith of Douglas, GA; great grandmother, Betty Paulk of Douglas, GA; three uncles, Cam “Worm” Coffee (wife Annsley), Craig Coffee (wife Dawn) and Mickey Braddy (wife Kim); aunt, Saranan Mitchell (husband Nathan), aunt, Kendra Smith and kids, uncle and aunt, Garrett and Leighanna McBride and kids; cousins, Gavin Grantham, Josie Grantham, Jase Rish, Dane Rish, Cally Coffee, Charleigh Coffee, and Katelyn Tucker.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 4, 2018 at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Walker and Rev. Mary Ann Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Hill Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home. John Myron will lay-in-state Sunday afternoon from 1pm until time of service at 2pm at First United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Jarrett Stone, Gant Vining, Jordan Knight, Haden Reddish, Lake Ables, R.E. Grantham, Jase Rish, Huntington Smith, Chad Hutto and Hayden Skipper.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Methodist Children's Home 2545 E. Park Ave., Valdosta, Georgia 31605 or the Memorial Fund at Lone Hill United Methodist Church.
