John Burton Farley Sr

John B. Farley Sr., age 91, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday November 20, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Farley was born October 6, 1929 in Madisonville, Kentucky the son of the late Burton McKinley Farley and Sydney Katherine Osborn Farley.

Mr. Farley was a retired Meat & Poultry Inspector with the USDA after 33 years and was a member of First Baptist Church, Douglas, Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Farley and Doug Farley.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Angie Farley of Douglas, GA; daughter, Lisa Farley of Douglas, GA; son John B. Farley Jr. of Macon, GA; two grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez (Robert) of Ocilla, GA and Shane Farley of Macon, GA; three great grandchildren, Stella, Ezra and Elias Martinez; several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held. Interment will be in Douglas City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
