Obituary
Ms. Jimmie Sue Hunter, age 91, of Broxton, Georgia passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Vista Park nursing home and rehabilitation center. Ms. Hunter was born on May 28, 1932, in Coffee County, Georgia to the late J.T. Jones and Iris Mae Tate.
Survivors include: One Son; Rusty Hunter of Broxton, GA, Two Grandchildren; Candice (Andy) Tate of Gray, GA, and Janice (Scott) Zajac of Gresham, OR, Four Great-Grandchildren; Payton Tate, Jackson Tate, Savannah Zajac, and Colt Zajac, One Brother; Charlie Joe (Diane) Jones of Marietta, GA, Nephews and Nieces; Mike (Anne) Jones of Marietta, GA, Kyle (Sarah) Jones of Marietta, GA, Sharon (Rusk) Jones of Cummings, GA, Jennifer (Jerry) Morrison of Alpharetta, GA, and Bob (Christy) Meier of St. Simons Island, GA. She was preceded in death by; Father; J.T. Jones and Mother; Iris Mae Jones.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 7th, 2023, from 2PM until 4PM at Sims Funeral Home of Douglas, GA.
Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 7th, 2023, at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, at 4PM, with Rev. Den Weniger officiating.
