Jesse James Solomon

Jesse James Solomon, age 91, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Solomon was born on February 19, 1931, in Douglas, GA to the late Morgan Solomon and the late Amanda "Mandy" Solomon.

Survivors include: Daughter: Brenda (Donnie) Anderson of Douglas, GA. Son: Larry (Pam) Solomon of Douglas, GA. Five grandchildren: Ryan J. (Megan) Solomon of Douglas, GA, Dr. Tyler (Kevin) Solomon of Macon, GA, Dan (Kayla) Wise of Axson, GA, Cody (Jennifer) Wise of Douglas, GA, Gavin McClendon Solomon of Douglas, GA. One Brother: Aldean (Mildred) Solomon of Fitzgerald, GA. Thirteen Great Grandchildren. Special Friend: Ann Carver.  He was preceded in death by his Father: Morgan Solomon, Mother: Amanda "Mandy" Solomon, Wife: Agnes Elizabeth Chaney Solomon, Two Brothers: Joe Glenn Solomon, Eugene Solomon, and one Sister: Ruby Taylor.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Rocky Pond Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Rocky Pond Baptist Church with Pastor Lonnie Spikes officiating and Pastor Walter Deloach speaking at the graveside. Interment will follow at Franklin Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Ryan Solomon, Tyler Solomon, Dan Wise, Kody Wise, Gaven McClendon Solomon, and Jason Solomon. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bruce White, Nick Rodriguez, Walt Deloach, Jessie at Hospice, Dr. H.P. Nair and wife, Dr. C.J. Reddy and wife, Don Anderson, Chris Roberson, Kenny Adams, Deborah Boyd and Brooks Auto employees.
