Jeannine Brice Sears, age 91, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Mrs. Sears was born on September 7, 1929 in Bibb County, Georgia the daughter of the late Walter Oswald & Emily Rebecca Harrison Brice.
Mrs. Sears was a homemaker and a member of Douglas First Baptist Church, Douglas, Georgia. She lived a life of service and devotion to her family, her church, and most importantly to her Lord Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Wendell Sears, Sr. Their love and devotion to each other was apparent to all who knew them.
Survivors include Son, George W. (Tina) Sears, Jr. of Savannah, GA; Daughter, Carol S. (Tim) Sawyer of Douglas, GA; Daughter, Karen S. (Jerry) Peele of Eastman, GA; Eight Grandchildren, Elizabeth Jeannine “Beth” Sears (Norm) Hall, George Wendell “Bucky” (Laura) Sears III, Andrew Garrette (Kathryn) Sawyer, Annalyn Peele (Jim) Tocci, Jennie Sawyer (Bradley) Murphy, Mark Aaron Sawyer, Kristen Peele (Jordan) Jones and, Kellie Peele (Daniel) Moore; Eight Great-grandchildren, Madeline Christine Sears, Samuel Edward Sears, Jonathan Garrett Sawyer, David Patrick Sawyer, Annabella Rose Tocci, Lydia Ruth Jones, Issac Joseph Murphy and, Emily Elizabeth Moore; two Nieces, Rue Meeks Player and Linda Meeks (Harold) Abbott; and many Harrison family cousins.
