James Warren Reliford

James Warren Reliford Sr, age 65, of Pearson, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Reliford was born on April 8, 1955 in Nicholls, Georgia the son of the late J W and Josie Frances Hollinger Reliford.

Mr. Reliford worked in the maintenance department with the Douglas Country Club and attended Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Wayne Reliford Sr and a sister, Shirley Diane Reliford Spires.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kathy Spivey Reliford of Pearson, GA; two daughters, Missy Hursey (Kendall) of Willacoochee, GA and Kayla Spires of Pearson, GA; son, James (Mann) Warren Reliford Jr (Kayla) of Willacoochee, GA; four grandchildren, Brayden Chaney, Natalie Spires, Kaisen Reliford and Callie Spires; four sisters, Debbie Robinson, Dommie Cooper (Glenn) and Bonnie Taylor all of Douglas, GA, Ruby Cooper (Bobby) of Pearson, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2:00pm at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Chaney and Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. Interment will follow at Royals Cemetery, Pearson, GA. Pallbearers will be Craig Coffee, Joey Chaney, Reid Dillingham, David Robinson, Jody Stone and Michael Swails.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, October 9, 2020 from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home.
