Emma Louise Carter

Emma Louise Carter, age 82, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Carter was born on March 25, 1940, in Douglas, GA to the late Willie McMillan and the late Alma Carver McMillan.

Survivors include: Three Daughters: Angela (Bruce) Boatright of Nicholls, GA, JoAnn  (Danny) Peacock of Blackshear, GA, Donna (Lanny) Carter of Alma, GA. One Son: Tony Carter of Nicholls, GA. One Sister: Barbara Ann Suggs of Arcadia, FL. Ten Grandchildren: Shannon Peacock, John Peacock, Kyle Carter, Lance Carter, Marci Boatright, Dillan Boatright, Haley Crosby, Alex Thomas, Shelby Carter,  Dalton Carter. Seven Great-Grandchildren: Logan Peacock, Landon Peacock, Jacie Carter,  Hollis Carter, Lanna Kay Carter,  John Michael Sweat, Marlie Brigmond. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mose Carter, Father: Willie McMillan, Mother: Alma Carver McMillan, Four Sisters and Six Brothers.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon McMillian officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Full Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery.
