Obituary
Duane Allen Benson, age 72, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Benson was born on July 17, 1950, in Kansas City Missouri, to the late Donald L. Benson and Emma Lucile Repper Benson.
Survivors include: His Wife: Jaina Alliun, Ganggal Benson, Three children; Jessica Aileen (Trey) Fussell of Douglas, GA, Christopher Daniel (Jessi) Benson of Irmo, S.C. and Joshua Matthew Benson of Atlanta, GA. Eight Grandchildren; Jada Aileen Fussell, Lexi Kai Fussell, Kobe Trey Fussell, Mekenna Benson, Draco Benson, Zachary Crowe, Courtlyn Benson, Kenneth Benson, and Alicia Benson, One great-grand child Atticus Peña, One brother, Gerald Eugene Benson of Fairplay, Co. and One sister, Beverly Kay (Ronald) Fish of Englewood Co.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 6pm-9pm at Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, GA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church at 2 pm with Father Paul O’Connell officiating.
Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
