Sylvia Diane Gilliard Padgett Taylor, age 76, of Douglas, GA passed away on August 6th ,2023 at Lakeside Senior Living in Douglas, GA. Ms. Taylor was born on January 23rd , 1947 to the late Earl Daniel Gilliard and Idell Peterson Gilliard.

Survivors include: One Son; Bill Padgett (Dianne) of Fitzgerald, GA, One Daughter; Belinda Yawn (David) of Wray, GA, One Step-Daughter; Lisa Taylor Mancil (Jimmy) of Douglas, GA, Six Grandchildren; Renae Salter (Ron) of Uvalda, GA, Wesley Yawn (Lauren) of Wray, GA, William Padgett of Wray, GA, Jacob Padgett of Wray, GA, Steven Paulk (Melissa) of Douglas, GA, Hope Miller (Josh) of Douglas, GA, One Sister; Marie Crosby (Larry) of Douglas, GA. Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by, Husband; Newt Padgett, Husband; Carroll Taylor, and a Sister; Carolyn Henderson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 8th 2023, from 6PM until 8PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 9th, 2023, at 11AM, at St. Paul Holiness Church in Jacksonville, GA with Rev. David Yawn and Rev. Daniel Smith officiating.
