Delbert Ray Pritchard

Delbert Ray Pritchard, age 76, of Pearson, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Pritchard was born on November 5, 1945, in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Freddie Leon Pritchard and Dannie Lucille Carroll Welch.

Survivors include: Daughter; Rebecca Louella Chaney (Jerome) of Pearson, GA, Son; Robert Wayne Pritchard of Douglas, GA, Daughter; Robin Elaine Fisher of Douglas, GA, Daughter; Jennifer Mull Ayers (Jason) of Pennsylvania, Step-Daughter; Melinda Mobley of Douglas, GA, Several Grandchildren, Great- Grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Prichard was preceded in death by: His Wife; Linda Faye Sweat Pritchard, Parents; Freddie Leon Pritchard and Dannie Lucille Carroll Welch, Brother; Dan Pritchard, and a Sister; Francis Martin.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00PM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Kirkland and Rev. R. B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Arna Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Dillon Anderson, Dalton Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Justin Spivey, Cole Chaney, and Michael Chaney.
