Arthur Eugene Peterson, age 91, of La Fayette, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Peterson was born on November 30, 1931, in West Green, GA to Carlie Peterson and Carrie Cannon Peterson.
Survivors include: Son, Joey (Susan) Webster of Broxton, GA, Son, Mike (Gail) Peterson of La Fayette, GA, Daughter, Linda Price (K.P.) of Valdosta, GA, Grandchildren, Christy (Henry) Adams, J.J. (Jill) Webster, Lane Leagans, LeAnn Leagans, Jordan (Kelly) Webster, Selena (Sean) Brewer, Brandon Campbell, Bret Peterson, Six Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Grandchild, and Several Nieces and Nephews Mr. Peterson was preceded in death by: Wife, Maureen Mullis Peterson; three Brothers, Omer, Earl, & Bobby Peterson; Father, Carlie Peterson; Mother, Carrie Cannon Peterson; Son, Danny Webster; Grandson, Brian Peterson .
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 3:00 pm, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Peterson officiating. Interment will follow at Central Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 23, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Sims Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
