Alvin Harper Obituary
Alvin Craig Harper, age 59, of Fitzgerald, Georgia passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia following an extended illness. Mr. Harper was born on February 8, 1959 in Douglas, Georgia the son of the late Alvin Harper and Arlo Carver Harper.
He previously worked as an electrician with Fleetwood Mobile Homes.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle Harper of Willacoochee, GA; son, Christopher Harper and wife Brooke of Fitzgerald, GA; grandchildren, Hunter White, Taylor Adams, Draven Harper and Phoenix Fletcher; sister, Linda Kaye Paulk of Douglas, GA.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Christopher Harper and Michelle Harper giving the eulogy.
Memorialization is by cremation.
Family will receive friends Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
