Wayne Morgan

Wayne Morgan, age 67, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Morgan was born on March 17, 1956 in Coffee County, GA to the late Manning Morgan and Allene Reliford Morgan.

Survivors include: Domestic Partner; Janning Charlie Roberts of Douglas, GA, Close Friend; Gwen Mizell of Nicholls, GA, and several Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 4:00PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Tanner and Rev. Bruce Tanner officiating, and Eddie McKinnon delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Jay Hersey, Jimmy Hersey, Mike Hersey, Eddie McKinnon, Mitchell Justice, and Clarence Shepard.
