Teresa (Talbert) Toledo

Teresa Talbert Toledo, age 56, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Toledo was born on February 24, 1966 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Darrell Talbert and Laura Harper Jowers.

Mrs. Toledo was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Cooper.

Survivors include her husband, Julio Toledo of Greensboro, NC; two sons, Justin Evans of Douglas, GA and Anthony Guerrero (Annie) of Douglas, GA; daughter, Twyla Toledo of Douglas, GA; ten grandchildren; four sisters, Wanda Vasquez (William) of Hazlehurst, GA, Kay Perez (Carlos) of Douglas, GA, Joann Harper (Eddie) of Brunswick, GA and Tonia Lopez of Hazlehurst, GA; two step-sisters, Bessie Leggett and Kathy Street; step-brother, Raymond Jowers; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 2:00pm at Dry Creek Church Cemetery with Rev. Hal Jeffcoat officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until 1:30pm prior to the service at Sims Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Carlos Perez, Wyatt Montgomery, Jeffery Bowen, Jamie Lopez, Corey Cooper and Brandon Cooper.
