Ruby Jean (Henderson) Yarberry

Ruby Jean Henderson Yarberry, age 82, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Tuesday evening April 9, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Yarberry was born on November 8, 1936 in Largo, Florida the daughter of the late James Henderson and Ruby Miton Henderson.

She worked as a store manager for Hungry Lion Convenient Store for twenty-one years and was a member of Hope Holiness Church, Nicholls, GA.

Mrs. Yarberry was preceded in death by her husband, James Yarberry and a son, Danny Yarberry.

Survivors include her children, James “Jim” Yarberry (Wendy) of Nicholls, GA, Kathy Grantham of Nicholls, GA, Wanda Spangler (Jerry) of Douglas, GA, Sherry Phillips (Randy) of Hartford, M.I., Donna Hersey (Gale) of Douglas, GA, Jeff Yarberry (Brenda) of Nicholls, GA and Dave Yarberry (Martha) of Douglas, GA; daughter-in-law, Robin Yarberry of Nicholls, GA; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several sisters and brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00a.m. from the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Pastor Arley Waters officiating. Interment will follow at Saginaw Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Yarberry, Mitch Yarberry, Jason Yarberry, Josh Hersey, Ronnie Snipes and Hank Spangler.
