Roberta Lea Johnson

Roberta Lea Johnson, age 40, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Irwin County Hospital, Ocilla, Georgia. Mrs. Johnson was born on September 18, 1980 in Live Oak, Florida the daughter of Danny Latham and Laura Moelius.

Roberta was a homemaker and of the Non-Denominational Faith. She was also preceded in death by a child.

Survivors include husband, Michael Johnson of Douglas, GA; 3 daughters, Makalah Diego (Manuel), Lagan Johnson and, Tarah Johnson all of Douglas, GA; 2 sons, Kameron Johnson and, William Johnson of Douglas, GA; 1 grandchild, Ida Rose Diego of Douglas, GA; 2 brothers, Tony Latham of Douglas, GA and Caleb Hamilton of TN; sister, Sarah Moelius; father, Danny Latham of TN; mother, Laura Moelius of TN; special aunt, Shelly Benton (Jesse) of Willacoochee, GA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Matt Rutland officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Kameron Johnson, Scotty Fulford, Manuel Diego, James Farley, Kodey Johnson, Tony Latham, Preston Johnson; Honorary pallbearers will be David Mazariegoz, William Johnson, Joshua Farley.
