Martha Dryden Sims

Martha Dryden Sims went to be with our heavenly father on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at her home in Douglas, GA. Mrs. Sims was born on August 11th, 1934 in Ashburn, Georgia the daughter late Mr. John Preston Dryden and Mrs. Thelma Elnora Britt.

Survivors include: One Daughter; Brenda (Doyle) Paulk of Ambrose, GA, One Son; Brent Sims of Hazlehurst, GA, Four Grandchildren; Marsha Paulk Willcox of Ambrose, GA, Becky (Jamie) Paulk Tate of Denton, GA, Brandon (Taylor) Sims of Nicholls, GA, Brittani (Freeman) Kirkland of Ambrose, GA, One Niece; Marilyn Eld of Ashburn, GA, Ten Grandchildren, and Two Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: Her Beloved Husband; Hughes Melton Sims, Two Sons; Mel Sims and Greg Sims, One Brother; Johnny Dryden, One Sister; Elena Springer, Father; John Preston Dryden, and Mother; Thelma Elnora Britt Dryden.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, Georgia from 10AM until 11AM.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, at The Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA at 11AM, with Rev. Larry Dean and Rev. Walt Deloach officiating.
