June Marilyn Adams Parsons, age 85, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Parsons was born on June 30, 1935 in Douglas, Georgia the daughter of the late Marvin and Delsa Mills Gaskin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, J.C. Adams and a sister, Annelle Burkett.
Mrs. Parsons was former owner/operator of the Dairy Queen in Douglas, GA and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Ward 1, Douglas, GA.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold Parsons of Douglas, GA; son, Craig Adams (Lisa) of Douglas, GA; daughter, Tammy A. Spell (Johnny) of Douglas, GA; five grandchildren, Adam Spell (Courtney) of Richfield, Utah, Chase Spell (Lydia) of Winter Haven, FL, Ramee Wright (Caleb) of Broxton, GA, Jeremy Adams (Miranda) of Jacksonville, FL, Carter Adams (Kaitlin) of Valdosta, GA; seven great grandchildren, Hudson Spell, Nash Spell, Stella June Spell, Benjamin Spell, Jacob Spell, Nolan Wright, Caroline Delsa Adams; sister, LaQuita Corban of Kennesaw, GA; brother, Daniel “Brains” Gaskin of Surfside Beach, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held.
