Irvin Charles Privett Sr

Irvin Charles Privett Sr., age 78, of Douglas, Georgia passe away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Vista Park. Mr. Privett was born on October 24, 1941 in Jacksonville, Florida the son of the late Irvin Madison Privett and Lois Ann Zokus Privett.

Mr. Privett worked as a shipyard rigger and in addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearlie Jane Richardson Privett.

Survivors include three sons, James Luke Singleton (Julia) of Willacoochee, GA, Joseph Hannah Singleton of Abbeville, GA and Irvin Charles Privett Jr (Tracie) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Shirley Ann Gonzales (Alonzo) of Americus, GA; six grandchildren, Brandon Singleton (Brittany), Christy Cato (William), Amanda Kirkland, Rachel Privett and Chris Griffin (Kassie Dawn); four great grandchildren, Aries Cato, Bailey Cato, Holly Kirkland and Brooklyn Kirkland.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 4:00pm at Satilla Memorial Gardens with Brother Marshall Adcock officiating. Pallbearers will be Brandon Singleton, Alonzo Gonzales, Matthew Smith, Russell Dickerson, Irvin C. Privett Jr and Aaron Taylor.

Musical selections will be “Amazing Grace” and “Daddy’s Hands” by CD.
