Hogan H. Waldron, age 76, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Waldron was born on August 18, 1944 in Starke, Florida the son of the late Robert Stanford Waldron and Ruby Alphia Sumner Waldron.
Mr. Waldron retired from Blake Industries as a service lineman, attended Trinity Non-Denominational Church, was a Free Mason and worked as a prison guard in Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Marty Waldron, step-daughter, Denise Waldron and 9 brothers & 3 sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Norma Waldron of Douglas, GA; son, Avery Waldron of Starke, FL; step-children, Jeannie Wooten Paulk (Gary) of Douglas, GA, Charleen W. Moore (James) of Alma, GA and Tom Wooten (April) of Douglas, GA; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, Hugh Waldron (Ann) of Hampton, FL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Floyd Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Refuge Church Cemetery, Pearson, GA. Pallbearers will be Will Coffee, Hunter Wooten, Trey Spivey, Al Spivey, Andy Wooten, Shawn Bullard.
