Gregory Michael Sims

Gregory Michael Sims, age 70, of Douglas Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Mr. Sims was born on December 19, 1952 in Pensacola, FL to Dr. Hughes Melton Sims and Martha Dryden Sims.

Survivors include; Mother: Martha Dryden Sims of Douglas, GA, Sister: Brenda Paulk (Doyle) of Ambrose, GA, Brother: Brent Sims of Hazlehurst, GA and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by; Father: Dr. Hughes Melton Sims and Brother: Mel Sims.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:00PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Dean officiating. Interment followed at the Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Jamie Tate, Brandon Sims, Freeman Kirkland, Jimmy Stapleton, Eli Wilcox and Jay Tate.
