George Elle Vickers

George Elle Vickers, age 80, of Pearson, Georgia passed away on Friday November 9, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Vickers was born on April 5, 1939 in Atkinson County, Georgia the son of the late Maccager Vickers and the late Mary Gillis Vickers. He worked in the maintenance department at Wal-Mart Distribution Center and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan N. McKinnon Vickers and a daughter, Joan L. Vickers.

Survivors include his daughter, Christina Moore Joly (Nikki) of Michigan; three grandchildren, Arabi Vickers Pena (Christopher) of Pearson, GA, Emily Constantino (Nini) of Willacoochee, GA and Tyler Moore of Michigan; two great grandchildren, Bryce Pena and Aubree Constantino; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening November 10, 2019 from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday November 11, 2019 at 11:00am at New Harmony Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Casey Wright officiating.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Pena, Nini Constantino, Tyler Moore, Kurt Russ, Charlie Russ and Michael McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Wal- Mart Distribution Employees.
