Willie Essary

Willie Essary, age 58, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Essary was born on September 11, 1960 in Dahlonega, Georgia the son of the late William Howard Essary Sr and Thelma Crum Essary.

Mr. Essary worked as a machinist with Thompsons Machine Shop and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Douglas, Georgia.

Survivors include his son, William Howard “Trey” Essary III (wife Heather) of Jamestown, NC; grandchildren, Samuel Essary, Elena Essary, Mathew Essary and Benjamin Essary all of Jamestown, NC; nephew, Nicholas Andrew Essary of Colorado Springs, CO, niece, Diana Nicole Essary of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Lewis Peyton Essary (wife Catalina) of Colorado Springs, CO.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 18, 2018 at 2:00pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery.             The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home.
