Waltraut "Trudy" Keaveney

Waltraut Helga “Trudy” Keaveney, age 88, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at CRMC. Mrs. Keaveney was born on August 28, 1929, in Allenstein, East Prussia to the late Walter Polzing and Gretel Polzing.

She was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include her husband, George Keaveney of Douglas, GA; sons: Patrick Keaveney and wife Kim of Acworth, GA and Stephen Keaveney of Stewart, FL; sister, Doris Stefano of Adlerwis, Switzerland; grandchildren, Lauren Keaveney, of Statesboro, GA; Jeromy Keaveney of Statesboro, GA; Travis Keaveney of Staatesboro, GA.,   Brandi  and husband  Tobin Carpenter of Valdosta, GA.and Patrick "P. J." Keaveney of Denton, MD; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Carpenter of Valdosta, GA and Haley Carpenter of Valdosta, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Father Paul O'Connell officiating. Interment will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Glennville, GA at 3:00pm.
