Scarlett Ann Andrews

Scarlett Ann Andrews, age 63, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Emory University Hospital. Mrs. Andrews was born on August 24, 1955 in Douglas, Georgia the daughter of the late Edward Dennis Harper and Nellie Jo Blackwell Harper.

Mrs. Andrews worked with Head Start, Douglas, GA for over twenty years and was a member of Bushnell Chapel.

Survivors include son, Jason Andrews (wife Jessica) of Douglas, GA; daughter, Tiffany Rose Andrews of Douglas, GA; brother, Dr. Conrad Harper (wife Lisa) of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Ava Andrews of Alpharetta, GA, Christian Corbitt of Valdosta, GA and Joseph Andrews of Douglas, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 2:00pm at Bushnell Chapel with Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating with Dr. Conrad Harper giving the eulogy. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home. Musical selections were “Tears In Heaven” and “Amazing Grace” sung by Tiffany Rose Andrews with Jason Andrews on guitar. Lisa Swanson pianist will play prelude and postlude.
