Ronnie E. Lewis

Sims Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Mr. Ronnie E. Lewis who lost his life in a boating accident in Florida on April 13, 2018. 

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife Mrs. Janice Lewis, a daughter; Mendi Lewis Skipper & husband Mark, and two sons; Ron Lewis & wife Julee Brooke Lewis, Mitch Lewis & wife Haley Lewis; a brother; Chris Lewis and wife Margaret Lewis; and his grandchildren; Hayden Skipper, Brady Skipper, Rhianna Lewis, Gigi Lewis, Tripp Lewis, and Mia Claire Lewis; along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his father and mother; Charles E. Lewis and Selis English Lewis; a brother; Danny D. Lewis; and a daughter; Jill Lewis.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday April 29, 2018 at 2:00pm at DeBerry Baptist Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening April 28, 2018 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at Sims Funeral Home.

The Family strongly suggests that In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Franklin County, Florida Sheriff's Office. Donations can be received here at Sims Funeral Home either by walk in, mail, or by phone via credit or debit card. Also, an account for these donations has been set up through Douglas National Bank as well. Please make all checks payable to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
